Sometimes there are parts within us that battle.
One part wants to succeed, but another part wants to hide.
One part wants to connect with others, but another part wants to be alone.
One part wants to be free, but another part isn’t sure it’s safe.
One part wants a partner, but another part believes we’re not good enough or intimacy is scary.
These inner conflicts can feel a bit like having one foot on the accelerator and the other the brake at the same time. It feels like going nowhere. In life, this can show up as stagnation, tension and frustration. No progress, no change, despite willing it.
These parts are not bad, they’re simply trying to do something for you — to protect you. How to find a way forward? That’s what we’re doing on this mindful-somatic workshop — rather than fight against them, we learn what’s going on and help them into a new configuration with you at as the CEO of your life. This also includes having the permission and tools to safely release the tension these parts might be holding…
This is how we come into inner harmony with all our parts and find *power* within ourselves…
This workshop is based on the Internal Family Systems (IFS) psychotherapeutic approach and is designed with a trauma-informed perspective.
WHAT YOU’LL GET:
Release baggage and issues you've been holding onto
Find more energy and clarity (less hesitation!) with decisions and momentum in your life
Discover how to be in collaboration with the voices/needs within, not in a battle
Understand your nervous system and how to come back to ease rather than in perpetual survival mode (fight, flight, freeze, fawn)
Learn tools to support a state of power, self-nurturing and emotional wellness day-to-day
Let go of the war and judgment inside yourself
Learn and practice tools to digest emotion in ways that *supports* the nervous system, not frazzles you
Lead from your Soul, not your hidden subsconscious
There will be individual and partnered practices that could involve simple nourishing touch. You’re supported to do only what you want to do with full consent. It's not necessary to have or bring a partner for any of these workshops. Feel free to contact us if you have questions or hesitations.
